Beginning Foundation Piecing 2 hours Learn the basics of foundation piecing. This technique allows you to accurately sew tiny, sharply pointed pieces. Prerequisite, must be comfortable using your sewing machine.
LeMoyne Star Block 1 hour Learn the easy way to make this 8 pointed star block. Prerequisite, must know how to use your sewing machine, sew an accurate 1/4" seam allowance and use rotary cutting equipment.
Binding 1 hour Learn a traditional method of binding quilts. Other methods will be discussed. Bring a project to bind. Prerequisite, must know how to use your sewing machine and sew an accurate 1/4" seam allowance.
Fast, easy, and accurate Flying Geese. 1 hour Learn how easy and accurate you can be making the flying geese unit found in many a quilt pattern. Get rid of the waste of making them with rectangles and squares leaving you with piles of half square triangles. Prerequisite, must know how to use your sewing machine and sew an accurate 1/4" seam allowance and use rotary cutting equipment.
Strip Piecing 4 hours in two 2 hour sessions with homework in between. Choose any of the Trip Around the World, Sunshine and Shadows or Double Irish Chain patterns from Tradition with a Twist. Learn proper strip piecing methods and how to keep organized while making a spectacular quilt. Prerequisite, must know how to use your sewing machine, sew an accurate 1/4" seam allowance and use rotary cutting equipment.

T-Shirt Quilt 3 hours in two sessions, 1 hour first and 2 hours after doing homework. Learn how to take that pile of T-shirts and turn them into a memory quilt. Prerequisite, must know how to use your sewing machine, sew an accurate 1/4" seam, and use rotary cutting equipment.
Happy Holidays Table Topper 2 hours with preparation prior to class. Learn how to make this dynamic table topper or tree skirt skirt using 60 degree triangles. Prerequisite, must know how to use your sewing machine, sew an accurate 1/4" seam allowance and use rotary cutting equipment.
Ditty Bag by Annie Unrein. 2 hours Learn how to make this bag in one of three pattern sizes. If you like Annie's patterns this is an excellent first pattern to make. Preparation prior to class required. Prerequisite, must know how to use your sewing machine, sew an accurate 1/4" seam allowance and use rotary cutting equipment.

An Everyday Bag by Favorite Things pattern designs. 3 hours. Learn to make this roomy, comfortable bag with four inside pockets and two outside pockets for cell phone or sunglasses. It has the option of a shoulder strap or short handles with inside Velcro tabs to keep the bag shape. We use soft and stable rather than batting for added body to the bag. Prerequisite must know how to use your sewing machine.
